Madi Takiyev was reappointed as the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan by a decree of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on September 3, 2026
Madi Takiyev heads the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan since February 2024.
During this period, a set of measures was implemented to improve budget and tax policy, digitalize public finances, increase the transparency of public procurement, as well as the effectiveness of tax and customs administration.
Work in key areas of the Ministry of Finance will continue within the framework of the tasks set by the Head of State and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
